Traveling in high heels.

Traveling in high heels.

This past week, I planned a quick 2-day business trip out of town. I took an early morning flight on Wednesday so that I arrived just before my first meeting.

While convenient, it meant that I didn't have time to wait for a checked bag (or change outfits) once I landed.

So I packed a carry-on bag and wore heels to the airport. GASP!

Normally, I wouldn't fly in heels.

But because I was wearing a business suit hemmed to the perfect length for 3.5" heels, my pants would have dragged on the floor if I had worn flats.

So there I was.

Flying in heels.

When I arrived at the airport, the parking garage was FULL.

After 30 minutes of searching, I finally found a parking spot!

And I had to speed-walk to catch my flight.

Amazingly, even after speed-walking at the airport, attending meetings all day and walking to dinner that night, my feet felt great thanks toVivian Lou Insolia Weight-Shifting insoles

Don't get me wrong.

I wouldnot recommend wearing (much less speed-walking) in heels at the airport, but if you're in a bind,Vivian Lou Insolia insoles will save your feet from the wrath of a long travel day in high heels.
